Board and Train

Board and Train is a comprehensive dog training service where your dog stays at our facility for an extended period while receiving focused training from professional trainers. During this time, dogs learn essential obedience commands, behavioural skills, and socialization techniques in a structured environment. It's an excellent option for busy pet owners who want their dogs to receive dedicated training and attention, ultimately resulting in a well-behaved and balanced companion ready for life at home.

Our Board and Train program addresses a wide range of challenging behaviours, including:

  • Persistent issues with barking

  • Excessive reactivity to stimuli

  • Anxiety around humans or other dogs

  • Difficulty with leash manners

  • Non-responsiveness to commands

  • Resource guarding tendencies

We focus on creating a well-rounded, confident canine companion. Your dog will learn:

  • Proper leash etiquette and heeling

  • Essential commands (Sit, Stay, Place, etc.)

  • Appropriate behaviour around high-value items

  • Socialization with dogs, people and new environments

  • Comfortable crate habits

  • Advanced off-leash reliability

Our goal is to instill calm, responsive behaviour in various environments while addressing specific behavioural concerns.

The Basics:

  • 2 x 40 minute owner education sessions: prior to start and at program conclusion

  • Self control and Engagement

  • Crate training

  • Dog socializing etiquette

  • House manners (barking, biting, jumping, furniture rules)

  • Foundational obedience (introducing and/or fine tuning commands)

Additional Services (as needed):

  • Off Leash Training

  • Beahviour Modification

  • Potty training for puppies and adult dogs

Board and Train

Program lengths available from 2 weeks to 4 months. Boarding, training and supplies are included in fee. Please inquire for discounted pricing on stays longer than 2 months.
